Job Description: | RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides accounting and taxation related consultancy services to clients
• Handles full sets of accounts using computerised accounting software (MYOB)
• Prepares unaudited financial statement(s) which comply with SFRS (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards)
• Prepares XBRL (eXensible Business Reporting Language) report(s) for submission to ACRA (Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority) when required
• Prepares and files GST (Goods & Services Tax) returns on client's behalf
• Compute and file Corporate Tax returns and Personal Tax returns on client's behalf
• Liaise with clients to ensure availability and completeness of accounting and financial records provided before commencement of any accounting engagement
• Liaise with tax representatives and assist clients to prepare necessary documents upon enquiry
• Liaise with auditors (on client's behalf) to ensure audit objectives are met and compliant with SSAs (Singapore Standard on Auditing)
• Liaise with the Singapore Department of Statistics on related annual survey services
• Any other ad-hoc duties
REQUIREMENTS
• Holds a Degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years of accounting and taxation related working experience
• Knowledge and experience using MYOB software preferred
• Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Client oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess a positive work attitude and good team spirit
• Proficiency in both English and Myanmar language (verbal & written) preferred
