Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
Responsible to have adequate raw products available in the section to produce the daily volume of food. Prepares, arranges and serves all food according to the standard set by the Executive Chef.
Does mis-en-place, preparation, cutting and deboning of meats, cooking, and breakfast arrangement of food as instructed.
Must be careful to prevent the use of spoiled or contaminated food.
Controls cost of minimizing spoilage, wastage and exercising portion control.
Makes use of standard recipes and presentation instructions whenever possible.
Handle machines furniture, equipment and utensils the proper way and cleans them after use.
Ensures the refrigerators, work tables, and the working area is clean at all times and arranges store.
Works closely with the Steward Supervisor in maintaining the kitchen area, meticulously insisting on cleanliness as prescribed by MOE standard.
Requirements:
Must Degree Holder
Certificate in F&B Management
At least 1 or 2 yr of relevant hands-on working experience
Possess an outstanding customer service mindset, communication & interpersonal skills, and excellent team player
Knowledge of western and local cuisine
