Job Description: | With regards to the Myanmar staff nurses recruitment, I will like to provide you with the following details:-
1. Number to recruit : 20 pax
2. Qualification criteria:- • Staff Nurse from Myanmar
• Pass SNB board exam in Singapore
3. Working Experience:-
• Work in hospitals/ convalescence homes
• Specialty – Geriatric / Psychiatric care / A&E department
• Work in nursing wards handling at least 50 patients
4. Personality Profile:-
• Pleasant personality
• Loves elderly and customer centric focus.
• Can work in a care team of multi-cultural & diversity (Singaporeans/Filipinos/Myanmar/Indians/Sri Lanka)
• Able to follows processes
• Able to speak and write in English
5. Other Profile:-
• Age – Prefer 25 and above as they are more matured
• Preferably not married and hence do not need to worry about spouse/ child back at home
• Gender – Females preferred as they can work in both female and male wards. Although we can also look at good male candidates
• Family background – Someone / Friend/Relative can help them to look after aged parents in Myanmar when they come to Singapore to work
• Valid reason for coming to Singapore to work
6. Compensation and Benefits
• Two years contract
• Starting pay S$1970/moth for day shift or S$ 2070/month for night shift based on 44 hours/week + O/T = can earn up to S$ 2300 to S$ 2500/month
• Annual adjustment shall be given
• Career Path: RN => In charge of the ward => Senior RN => Deputy Centre in Charge => Centre in Charge => Asst Nurse Manager
• No AWS stated in contract but for RN level, we have been giving bonus up to 2 months
• Overtime if necessary is paid at prevailing Ministry of Manpower rates – 1.0 (PH), 1.5 (normal), 2.0 (Rest days)
• 18 days annual leave
• Medical/ dental/insurance benefits
• Departure airfare paid by company
• SNB exam fee paid by company
7. Shift Hours
• Can be roster for day/ night or weekday/weekend shift
• Roster is based on 44 hours/week which comprise of 9 hours x 4 days + 8 hours x 5 days
• One rest day + one off day
• Shift hours could be as following combinations
o 0700 to 1600 (8 hrs + 1 hour break)
o 0700 to 1700 (9 hours + 1 hour break)
o 1200 to 2100 ( 8 hours + 1 hour break)
o 0900 to 1930 ( 9 hours + 1.5 hour break)
8. Job Scope
• Medication
• Wound dressing (complex)
• Trachy suctioning
• Assess residents during incidents/ back from hospitals/ change in medical condition and perform care plan for the residents
• Assists in doctors walk rounds
• Communicate with family members regarding residents conditions
• Supervise nursing aides on the ward and train them to improve the nursing care standards
• Any task assigned by Centre In Charge
