Puma Job Title: Terminal Superintendent Geographical Scope: Myanmar

Internal - Operators, ops general – shipping & transport, HSEQ, sales, BSM, Accounts & Finance
External – Joint operators, clients, cartage contractors, shipping agents, Customs, Third Party Laboratory /
Inspectors, Licensing authorities.
Function:
Responsible for managing/leading the day-to-day operations at the assigned Puma Energy terminal.
Comply with business objectives, and adherence to PUMA standards, procedures, processes, plans and schedules.
100% commitment with the SAPS industrial safety program.
Ensure operations of terminal is compliant to regulatory requirements and licensing authorities.
Maintain healthy relationship with customers and joint operators of the terminal.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Commercial Management and local operators the daily delivery of fuel, by means of the ordering
program, one day in advance, so that deliveries are scheduled. Provide exceptional customer experience and
maintain a healthy relationship with all parties.

Review and send to the (Operations, Commercial, General) Management daily inventory control, by means of the
movement reports.

Recommend to Operations Manager the purchase of tools, materials and equipment by means of quotes and
purchase orders, following regional procedures, and in order to keep the Installations in safe working conditions.

Complete regular Installations safety checks/inspections and its associated reports.
Prepare and review reports concerning the state of condition of the Installations based on inspection reports of the
Operators. Review and authorize maintenance or repair programs prepared by the operators.

Liaison between management and operations by means of reports; maintain good communication flow to ensure
all parties involved are fully aware of daily activities and results.

Coordinate emergency response (e.g. fire simulation, fuel spillage programs), in conjunction with local authorities
and joint operators, to train staff to act accordingly in case of incidents.

Coordinate with Operations/Logistics/Shipping Management all programs for receiving tankers/barges, including
inventory control, Customs and Port clearence and consumption projections.

Coordinate the adequate rotation of the inventory in the Installations.

Prepare, supervise and execute procedures for the loading/discharge from tankers/barges.

Prepare the monthly safety and security report.
Plan and conduct monthly safety committee meetings.
Plan and execute regular obesrvations.
Report, investigate incidents in a timely manner.

Supervision of maintenance and repair work, including issue of Safe Work Permits to workers.

Accountable for:
· Hold at least 1 operations meetings each month.
· Perform 1 order and cleaning inspection every three months and 1 inspection of fire equipment each
month.
· Perform 1 trends statistical analysis every three months.
· Perform 1 annual revision of the emergency plans.
· Perform one major disaster drill each year.
Skills:
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
· ISO 9000 knowledge.
· Fluent in English (other languages will be a plus).
· Leadership and management skills.
Experience:
· 3 years minimum operational experience in industrial facilities in areas such as maintenance, production,
distribution and industrial safety. Petroleum industry terminals operations experience will be an added
advantage.
· Regulatory knowledge – Port, Customs, Licensing.
Education:
· Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (trade) or business.
Competencies:
· Proactive and willing to propose the continuous improvement of the facilities and processes applied in the plant.
