Job Description: | Job responsibilities "
1. Responsible for performing daily operational tasks like storage provisioning and maintaining availability at the customer site(s). Provisions storage based on standardized procedures as outlined by HP and Hitachi best practice documentation.
2. Should have advanced levels of knowledge with the Fibre Channel Switches and/or IP Networks.
3. Experience with storage system (s) that are being deployed as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the Operating systems in use.
4. Work involves storage area networks and network infrastructure in both LAN and WAN settings
5. Capable of working with minimal supervision.
6. Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with customer's change management policies.
7. Participates in the continual review and improvement of existing operational policies and procedures in compliance with Hitachi storage management best practices.
8. SAN Fabric Switches, Storage Monitoring and Reporting
9. Storage Operations -LUN Provisioning, Host Configuration, LUN Presentation, Storage Optimization
10. SAN Switch Configuration, Zone Configurations and Integration of Host and Storage"
Skill required "Hitachi Storage, NetApp, IBMv7000, Oracle ZFS, Oracle Exadata, SAN-Brocade switches
