Job Description: | 1. Electrical Technician
Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and trouble shooting on power plant electrical equipments such as Generators, excitation, SFC systems, transformers, MV / HT switchgears, motors, etc.
• Perform work at all plants in Jurong Island Operations.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certificates
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power plant
• Preferably possess LEW – electrician license
• Knowledge in power plant excitation, SFC system is essential
• Able to read schematics
• Possess good attitude and willingness to learn
2. Mechanical Technician
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of mechanical equipment in the utilities and water treatment plant.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / NITEC or in any engineering discipline.
• Experience working in the heavy engineering / process plant industry is an advantage.
• Possess good attitude and willingness to learn
SHIFT CHARGE ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
 Responsible for safe, efficient and reliable operation of the combined cycle plant systems and all activities on the plant systems during his shift period.
• Operate the combined cycle cogeneration plant systems boilers and handle products and chemicals in compliance with health, safety and environment legislation.
• Report directly to the operation manager and lead a team of technicians in the smooth operation of the power plant.
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience. Diploma with minimum 10 years related experience may also apply.
• Worked as a shift charge engineer in combined cycle power plant for at least 5 years.
• First / second grade steam engineer certificate and confined space assessor will be an added advantage.
• Operation experience on ABB Bailey and Honeywell DCS is an added advantage.
• Work independently, take initiative and work in accordance with company’s general interest.
• Ability to foresee and resolved issues before surfacing would be an added advantage.
• Communicate effectively for prompt resolution of plant matters.
• Must have high level of integrity, able to generate trust and build alliances with co-workers.
• All Lead Technical Officer, Senior Technical Officer, Technical Officer or equivalents from power plants are encouraged to apply
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Clear understanding of client and project requirements
• Ability to translate the requirements into accurate process information
• Timely delivery of information to other technical and commercial disciplines
• Conceptualize new development work
• Improve performance and optimization of existing utility blocks
Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years process engineering experience in the petrochemical / chemical, oil and gas industry
• Familiar with international and industrial design codes, standards and practices
• Familiar with process simulation, preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment and line sizing
• Good communication skills and task oriented
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
POWER PLANT OPERATION TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
• To operate & monitor High pressure Boiler / Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine Steam Grade / Demin Plant / Chiller Plant / WWT Plant / Terminalling / Electrical and Instrumentation Systems.
• Capability of understanding logic.
• Awareness of HSE in Process Plant.
Requirements:
• NTC2 / Diploma in any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years in Power Plant or Process related Plant and 2 years in DCS operations.
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player with strong communication / interpersonal skills.
• Have Fire Fighting / First Aid skills.
