Job Description: | Candidates must have mechanical engineering certificates and must have experience in oil/petrochemical industries.
Salary: SGD$2000.00 ~ SGD$2500.00
Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with client�s representatives and sub-contractors on technical matters and cost evaluation matters
* Prepare Job Method Statements and Drawings if required
* Carry out maintenance work planning, design, material requisition, cost control, maintenance supervision and documentation
* Perform incoming inspection on maintenance work materials delivered on site by the suppliers/vendors to ensure they meet specified requirements and to arrange for any testing required
* Co-ordinate and sequence subcontractors work according to the maintenance schedules.
* Liaise with subcontractors and ensure that they complete the works on site according to schedule
* Check, supervise and inspect (as appropriate) all mechanical works performed by subcontractors on site to ensure that quality works are produced
* Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising at site
* Consult and inform immediate supervisor on any problems related to Quality and HSE matters
* Liaise with client�s representatives on the inspection of work
* Assist in handing over of completed works and rectification of any defects by the appropriate subcontractors
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent (foreign)
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in a local engineering construction company
* Reasonably good in both written and oral communication skills is essential
* Must be able to interpret and understand technical drawings.
* An independent, highly motivated and a good team player.
* Use of AutoCAD would be an advantage
* Ability to operate Microsoft excel, words and power point
