Job Description: | Position: Admin Staff - Container co-ordinator
Salary: $2200.00
Working hours:- Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
Saturdays – 8am to 2pm
Day offs during weekdays if work is required on Sunday
Main requirement is to Able to converse in English and Chinese
Role 1:- Container co-ordinator
Job Description
- To liaise with customer service team (CSO) on the movement of cargo containers between ports and warehouses
- Record movement of loaded and unloaded cargo container movements
- Co-ordinate and liaise with customers / CSO on the delivery status using phone, email
- Co-ordinate with drivers on their jobs
- To pass basic instructions and information from driver to main controller/CSO/depots/shipping lines/warehouse team
- To oversee and organise paper work (i.e. shipping documents/job sheets/Dos)
- Electronic logins to regulatory bodies’ portals to update statuses and jobs
Skills / attributes
- Basic computer skills – Excel / word / able to type basic emails
- Able to converse in English and Chinese (dialects a plus!)
- Team player, takes initiatives and can work alone
- Male-based workplace environment, but females and males are welcome
Does not need to have prior experience, but knowledge in shipping industry is a bonus.
